COR Wellness

Our Why

A letter from the CEO

My personal why comes from spending over 20 years in Human Resources and executive leadership. I’ve experienced many ups and downs with people and businesses, which led me here. For over a decade, I was a GE corporate leader in 3 of their major divisions. I led HR for teams in 24 countries. I have also started 3 businesses: Curtin Professional Search, Cultivate, and now COR Wellness. COR is the most meaningful to me because it is driven by my why. It’s a result of all of my personal and business experiences with people. I’m driven to provide impact for leaders and those who desire to live their best lives.

The reason I’m driven by my why goes deep. I was born with a disability and I overcame it with multiple surgeries, a compassionate mother, and a tough father who instilled the discipline it takes to succeed. I understand the value of my health and my limitations.  I’ve worked very hard to make every day healthier than the day before. I know through my personal and professional experience, that many people are living at 60% and probably don’t realize it. Our employee data backs this up.

How My Why is Benefiting Businesses

Many businesses out there are focusing on big targets. Their people also want to be successful but are running on empty due to work or personal lives. It takes smarts and money to drive success, but you reach it with your people. Over the last 7 years, I have been pouring my heart and soul – my why – into proving that the primary business strategy is to improve the well-being of your talent. To show that sets the stage for maximizing results. When you do that, meeting your goals is much easier.

My co-founder, Andy, spent the early part of his career in tech and business consulting for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. Over the last 15 years, he pivoted to improving healthcare delivery and population health at some of the largest health systems in the US.

At COR, Andy leverages his knowledge and experience to identify improvements. He can look at the spectrum of organizational functions, from finance to operations, and break that down into strategic decisions to make your organizational goals a reality. He also received his Master’s in Health Administration to design and deliver innovative health and wellness solutions. These solutions maximize benefits and value for you, our COR clients.

It is my strength and my passion to improve performance and make the world better for your employees through our individualized, high-touch programming. I am committed and excited to ensure you are achieving your organizational goals.
